Liberty Park Middle School Scholars Bowl Wins District Tournament

Liberty park Middle School's victory guaranteed a qualification for the State Scholars Bowl Tournament at Hoover High School on February 23.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - Some pretty smart students attend Liberty Park Middle School, which is not surprising considering the annual accolades the school receives statewide. Those sharp brains were evident at the District Scholar's Bowl Tournament last week, when the school took home first place in the competition.

The team scored 1790 points in four matches at the tournament, hosted by Spain Park High School. This victory guaranteed a qualification for the State Scholars Bowl Tournament, which will take place at Hoover High School on Saturday, February 23.
