March 13 Is Freedom From Addiction Day In Vestavia Hills
Following the lead of nearby cities such as Hoover and Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills has declared Match 14 Freedom from Addiciton Day.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - March 13, 2018, has been proclaimed Freedom from Addiction Day in Vestavia Hills. The city is following the lead of nearby communities such as Mountain Brook, Homewood and Hoover who formed of the Freedom from Addiction Coalition.
The day will be marked by the inaugural Freedom from Addiction Coalition awareness breakfast at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church at 8 a.m., where speakers and representatives from local agencies that treat and aim to prevent addiction to drugs and alcohol will be onsite to raise awareness and provide resources.
