Police Investigating Hotel Room Robbery

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred April 24 at the Days Inn on Montgomery Highway. Police have identified the suspect as 33-year-old Thomas Jeffrey King.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. April 24, VHPD received a "shots fired " call at the Days Inn. After officers responded, a victim reported that they had been robbed in their hotel room. Information obtained by investigators led to a warrant being issued for King.

Police say King should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees this suspect is asked to call 911 or 978-0140. If you have any information on the suspect you may call Detective Owens at 978-0129 or 978-0140.
