Rebels Head To Huntsville For State Baseball Playoffs
Vestavia will face Huntsville in the first round of the AHSAA baseball playoffs Friday.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - No school in Alabama high school baseball history has the championship resume that Vestavia Hills has put together in the last three decades. With nine state championships and a rich history of producing college and pro players, the Rebels look to add to their list of baseball achievements as the AHSAA baseball playoffs begin this week.
Vestavia will travel to Huntsville to take on the Panthers in the first round of the playoffs Friday, after the 22-9 Rebels clinched a playoff bid as the runner-up in Class 7A, Area 5. The Rebels have ridden the bats of Will Hoffman, Ben Saway, Colton Lewis and Hinton Livings into the postseason, and look to upset the Panthers on their home field.
A doubleheader is set for Friday at 4:30 p.m. with a third game to be played Saturday if necessary.
