Sprouts Grocery Store On US 31 To Close In December
will be consolidated into the brand's other two Birmingham area stores in Hoover and on U.S. 280.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - A grocery store chain in Vestavia Hills will close its doors this month, as Sprouts Farmers Market announced its Vestavia Hills location on Highway 31 will close Dec. 23. The store opened in 2016.
A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said the store, which offers farm fresh food and other options, will be consolidated into the brand's other two Birmingham area stores in Hoover and on U.S. 280.
The closure will bring a key vacancy to the evolving U.S. 31 corridor in Vestavia Hills, according to the BBJ. While the local retail scene has seen a number of closures thanks to big box retailers and large chains, the food industry has generally been a bright spot.
