Summit Retailer Moving To Larger Space
Among some of the many changes happening at the Summit, one retailer is moving locations within the shopping center.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Summit shopping center has seen several changes lately, with new additions replacing some of the center's former tenants over the last year. One retailer announced this week it is moving — but not out of the shopping center.
Athletic clothing retailer Lululemon is moving its store to a larger space next to Chuy’s in October. Its current location at The Summit will remain open until the new store opens.
The new 5,435-square-foot space will allow the retailer to provide an expanded line of men’s and women’s athletic clothing as well as more dressing rooms and an outdoor area overlooking The Summit, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

"It is always exciting to watch one of our tenants continue to grow and expand their brand in our community, while pushing outside the borders to really enhance the customer’s experiences," said Carver Boynton, general manager at The Summit. "Lululemon has always been a destination store at The Summit and we’re excited to continue to create and enhance places people love."
Founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1998, the technical athletic apparel company provides clothing for yoga, running and training.
