Suspects In Vehicle Break-In Sought By VHPD

The Vestavia Hills Police Department is trying to identify two suspects in a vehicle break-in March 6.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills Police Department is trying to identify two female suspects in a vehicle break-in case from March 6. The VHPD posted photos of the suspects on social media Monday.

A report by the VHPD said that on March 6 at approximately 7:15 pm, the suspects in the photos broke into a vehicle in the 2300 blk. of Old Columbiana Rd. Both suspects were reportedly in the business for a period of time prior to the theft, posing as potential customers.

Upon leaving, they allegedly smashed a vehicle window in the parking lot and stole a victim's purse.
