Trailer Thieves Sought By Vestavia Hills Police

The suspects in the theft on Montgomery Highway were in what appears to be a dark-colored pickup truck.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills Police Department is currently seeking two suspects in a trailer theft that occurred Nov. 2 on Montgomery Highway. The VHPD released security photos of the suspect's vehicle on social media this week.

Police said at approximately 11:25 pm. Monday night, what appears to be two white males, in a dark colored pick-up truck, stole a company trailer from a business in the 1400 block of Montgomery Highway.

Upon reviewing the company's surveillance video, police said the suspects were initially captured on the property at approximately 8:15 pm with a trailer, loaded with pallets, already attached to their vehicle. Hours later, the suspects reportedly returned without the attached trailer and stole the company trailer.
