Vestavia City Schools Foundation Accepting Board Applications
From now until March 9, the Vestavia Hills City School Foundation is accepting applications for its board.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation is currently accepting applications for potential board members to on the organization's board of directors. Board members serve a three year term and are expected to serve as active ambassadors, fundraisers and leaders for Vestavia Hills schools. The deadline for applications is March 9.
The VHCSF statement regarding board appications said, "If you are committed to helping the students and teachers in Vestavia Hills City Schools by building the Foundation’s education endowment, we encourage you to apply. We are a working board that exists to provide perpetual financial support to each of the Vestavia Hills schools and to protect and foster the standard of academic excellence in our school system, the cornerstone of our community."
Since awarding it's first grants in 1999, the Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation has provided more than $860,000 to schools and the Board of Education.
