Vestavia Doctor Arrested On Child Porn Charges

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A Vestavia Hills doctor was arrested Tuesday on federal child pornography charges. Dr. Ronald Tai Young Moon, 55, was indicted on charges of producing and possessing child pornography.

U.S. Attorney Jay E. Town of the Northern District of Alabama and FBI Special Agent in Charge Johnnie Sharp Jr. announced that the indictment was filed in U.S. District Court in Birmingham last week and that the child pornography production offenses occurred sometime between 2007 and 2010, and that Moon was in possession of child pornography in January of this year.

Moon is a physical medicine doctor who practices at the Industrial Athlete, located at 820 University Boulevard in Birmingham.
