Vestavia Hills Board Of Education Approves 2021-22 Calendar
The 2021-22 school year in Vestavia Hills will begin Aug. 10, 2021, and will end May 26, 2022.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills Board of Education on Monday approved the school system's proposed 2021-22 calendar.
The calendar was developed by a committee including VHCS parents, teachers, and administrators, and was shared with the school system's entire workforce for feedback prior to the Monday night board meeting.
The 2021-22 school year will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, and will end on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

The calendar includes several frequently-requested provisions for families and staff, such as a full week break at Thanksgiving and at least one school holiday each month of the academic year.
