VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — A Birmingham-area high school has been recognized nationally for its school spirit. Vestavia Hills High School is one of six U.S. high schools nominated by Varsity Brands as America's Most Spirited High School.
If VHHS wins, the school would be awarded $25,000. Voters can cast a vote for VHHS once a day now through the close of voting on Feb. 25.
Varsity Brands started the program in 2014 to celebrate schools, organizations and individuals that "go above and beyond the call of duty to build school pride, student engagement and community spirit," according to the organization.
