VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills Police Department is searching for a suspect they say scammed a cashier at a local business out of $595. The incident occurred April 7, according to a VHPD report.

Police say the suspect stole the money from a store in the 500 block of Olde Towne Road, after reportedly scamming the cashier out of the money. No further details were released.

The VHPD posted photos of the suspect on social media this week.
