Vestavia Relay For Life Raises $253,000
After rescheduling its Relay for Life event due to bad weather, VHHS was able to raise more than $250,000.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - After having to reschedule the Relay for Life event originally set for April 14, Vestvavia Hills High School was able to raise $253,000 April 13 for The American Cancer Society and the Oncology Department of Children's Hospital.
According to a report by the Vestavia Voice, the event also included a presentation by Magic Moments wherein Pizitz Middle School student Will Nailen - who was diagnosed last year with small cell osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer - was given a trip to Lake Tahoe.
