Vestavia Resident Earns Degree From Wofford College
Wofford College recognized its 2020 graduates, including a Vestavia Hills resident who graduated magna cum laude.
SPARTANBURG, SC — Although Wofford College was forced to postpone then cancel commencement exercises for the class of 2020, the college still celebrated the accomplishments of this class, recognizing graduates this week.
Among the students earning degrees was Abigail Claire Albritton of Vestavia Hills, who received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in economics, magna cum laude.
Wofford College, established in 1854, is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, S.C. It offers 26 major fields of study to a student body of 1,690 undergraduates.
