Vestavia School Board Looks At Three Re-Zoning Options
Vestavia Hills residents will have the opportunity to weigh on the BOE's re-zoning options via the board's website.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills Board of Education is looking into three different options for its elementary school re-zoning plan, and announced Thursday that residents may weigh in on the options via the board's website.
During a work session Thursday morning, the board received three options for consideration from its rezoning consultants at Cooperative Strategies. Each option was developed from feedback provided earlier this year by focus groups of more than 65 stakeholders and community leaders.
The rezoning options are now available for public review and comment, with a rezoning survey. The survey may be viewed on the school system's rezoning website. The survey will be open through Friday, June 22.

Community forums will take place at Vestavia Hills Elementary East on Tuesday, June 12 at 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 13 at 9:00 a.m.
