Vestavia Schools Technology Director Receives State Certification

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Vestavia Hills City Schools announced this week that Keith Price, the system's director of technology, received the certified Chief Technology Officer designation from the Alabama Leaders in Educational Technology association.

This yearlong program provided Rpice with knowledge and training to meet the unique technology demands of school systems so that the system can continue to grow learning opportunities for all students.

Price was one of a dozen technology leaders who completed the CTO program in 2019. Currently, fewer than 100 current and aspiring technology directors in Alabama hold the CTO designation.
