Vestavia's 'We The People' Team Wins Another State Championship
Vestavia's "We the People" team has won its 16th consecutive state title.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills High School We the People team continued its winning streak in January by capturing its 16th straight title.
The mock Congressional team represented Alabama’s sixth Congressional district at the state competition, which was held this year at American Village in Montevallo. Students competed against three other Congressional districts to successfully defend its state championship.
The VHHS team will represent the state of Alabama at the 33rd annual We the People national competition in April. Approximately 1,200 students from 56 communities will participate in this event, which takes place at the National Conference Center in the Washington, D.C. area.
