VHHS Show Choir Wins Capital City Classic

The Vestavia Hills High School show choir competed in the Capital City Classic in Montgomery and dominated the field.

MONTGOMERY, AL - The Vstavia Hills High School show choir competed in the Capitasl City Classic at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center January 25 and 26, and put on a dominating performance. The group left Montgomery with a pile of awards, including the competitions top honor.

The Rebels were not only Grand Champions in their division, but they also won Best Vocals, Best Show Design, and Best Overall Effects for their performance of The Price Is Right. Additionally, Sara Grace Lyon’s solo placed in the top four.

The competition included a total of 43 choirs from Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia. This year was the 11th year of this competition.
