- This past Tuesday morning, a 16-year-old was found dead on the Big Lake Elementary School playground. According to authorities, the death has been deemed"suspicious." There were no obvious signs of injuries or trauma; however, certain evidence found at the scene has raised some concerns. Currently, the State Medical Examiner's Office has the teen's body and is in the process of determining the cause of death. (Anchorage Daily News)
