Join the UAA Planetarium for a live streaming of the film "Beyond the Impossible."
The documentary chronicles the exciting Hawaii astronomical discoveries, including
Nobel Prize-winning research, as told by some of Keck Observatory’s community of science
trailblazers and technology innovators who revolutionized the field, catapulting the
Observatory into becoming the most scientifically impactful optical/infrared ground-based
observatory on the planet.

UAA Planetarian, Omega Smith, will give a live presentation after the film to talk
about first-hand experiences at the summit of Mauna Kea.
