• Murkowski Announces Release of $41.3 Million for Alaska Native Education Program Grants (senate.gov) — Hydaburg City School District is set to receive $1.43 million from newly released Alaska Native Education Program grants, part of a $41.3 million statewide package. This funding supports culturally relevant curriculum, tutoring, language revitalization, and afterschool and early childhood programs for Alaska Native students, following a delay that was resolved after Sen. Lisa Murkowski pressed federal education officials.
