• Soldotna City Council To Consider Knight Drive Rezoning For Multi-Family Housing (radiokenai.com) — Soldotna residents may see new multi-family housing on Knight Drive as the city council considers rezoning a 5.13-acre parcel Wednesday evening. The proposal would shift the vacant lot from single/two-family to multi-family zoning, aligning with Envision Soldotna 2030 and regional housing goals. If approved, the change takes effect immediately following the 6 p.m. meeting at City Hall.
   

• First Lady Rose Dunleavy Recognizes 2026 First Lady's Volunteer Awards Recipients (alaska.gov) — Soldotna residents can celebrate local volunteer leader Lacie Kelly, who just received the 2026 First Lady’s Volunteer Award for revitalizing the Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions and supporting families and youth.
