• Arizona Projects 10-02-26 (azbex.com) — A new six-story Embassy Suites by Hilton is now under construction at The BLVD in Avondale, bringing 180 suites and significant meeting space to anchor the Park Avenue District by spring 2028. The statewide roundup also highlights major infrastructure, museum, school, and road projects that could affect travel, jobs, and services for Avondale residents across Arizona.
   

• 7 Brew Approved to Acquire 30 Former Salad and Go Sites in Metro Phoenix (whatnow.com) — One of the former Salad and Go drive-thru sites in Avondale, at 1585 N. Dysart Road, is slated to become a 7 Brew coffee stand under a newly approved $123 million deal. The chain will gradually convert 30 metro Phoenix locations, offering drive-thru coffee, teas, and energy drinks, though construction timelines and opening dates for Avondale haven’t been announced yet.
   

• Billy Ray Cyrus Joins DELTONA on Party's In The Back Remix (broadwayworld.com) — A major country-rock show is headed to Phoenix Raceway in Avondale on October 18, featuring DELTONA performing with Billy Ray Cyrus during the NASCAR Cup Series Freeway Insurance 500. Fans can expect their rowdy “Party’s In The Back” remix live, along with the band’s high-energy country-rock set as part of a busy fall tour.
