• School aide allegedly sexually abused student, sent photos of positive pregnancy tests (local12.com) — Avondale police are investigating a Sun Valley Academy teacher’s aide accused of an illegal sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student, including sending photos of positive pregnancy tests. School officials say the alleged encounters happened off campus, were promptly reported to police, and that no other students are believed to be involved. 
• Multiple teens shot in violent weekend for the Phoenix area (fox10phoenix.com) — Avondale police are seeking information after a teen was shot in a separate incident linked to a string of party-related shootings across the Valley that injured eight teens. Authorities across Phoenix, Litchfield Park, Tempe, and Avondale are urging parents and teens to share any video or tips that could help identify those responsible.
