• DPS: Wanted woman shot, killed after trying to drive off with trooper near Benson (azfamily.com) — A state trooper shot and killed a woman during a May 25 traffic stop on I-10 just northeast of Benson, after she allegedly resisted arrest and tried to drive off with the trooper partly inside the car. DPS says the veteran trooper was injured, treated at a hospital, and is now recovering at home, while investigators continue reviewing the confrontation.
