Benson PD using Flock license plate readers despite some objections (kgun9.com) — Benson officials are reworking their long‑term Axon contract so police can keep essential body cameras and tasers while stripping out controversial Flock license plate readers for now. The readers are still operating around town and have aided about 25 cases, but at least one council member wants them gone when next year’s budget talks begin, citing tight finances and residents’ privacy worries.
