• Foothills Food Bank kicks off school supply drive - Cave Creek / Carefree Independent (yourvalley.net) — Families in Black Canyon City can receive free backpacks and school supplies in early July as part of Foothills Food Bank’s annual school supply drive. Donations of backpacks, paper, markers, and more are being accepted through July 1 at the Carefree Highway location and via an Amazon wish list to help North Valley students start school prepared.
