• Gun deal led to shooting that left 17-year-old dead in El Mirage, police say (azfamily.com) — A 17-year-old Dysart High School student died after an April 27 shooting during an alleged gun deal on Dreyfus Drive near Thunderbird and El Mirage roads, according to El Mirage police. Another 17-year-old suspect was wounded, arrested, and faces murder and related charges. Neighbors recently gathered for a vigil at nearby Buena Vida Park to remember the victim.
