• Pinal County takes legal action against its top prosecutor (kvoa.com) — Pinal County officials based in Florence are suing County Attorney Brad Miller, accusing him of unauthorized hiring, unapproved salaries, and an unapproved contract with federal Homeland Security that could expose taxpayers to financial risk. They argue diverting county investigators to immigration work could weaken local crime prosecution, while Miller’s office says it welcomes resolving the dispute in court.
