• Weather Alerts (fox10phoenix.com) — Strong winds are expected in Fort Mohave through Friday afternoon, with the National Weather Service warning of conditions that could threaten life or property in the area. Multiple wind advisories cover Parker Valley, the Northwest Deserts, and especially Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave, lasting into Friday, so residents should secure loose items and use extra caution while traveling. 
• Wind Advisory issued April 16 at 12:28PM PDT until April 17 at 5:00PM PDT by NWS Las Vegas NV (kesq.com) — Fort Mohave is under a wind advisory through Friday evening, with north winds up to 35 mph and gusts possibly reaching 50 mph. Driving, especially along I-40, and boating on Lake Havasu and Lake Mohave could be hazardous, with waves up to four feet and even stronger isolated gusts near nearby river communities.
