Audtions for A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL at Fountain Hills Theater announced for October 17 & 18 (blogspot.com) — Fountain Hills performers are invited to audition this October for Fountain Hills Theater’s original musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol, directed by Artistic Director Peter J. Hill. Auditions include singing, dance, and an optional monologue, with rehearsals starting October 25 and performances running on Thursday through Sunday schedules in the Noël Irick & Peter J. Hill Playhouse.
   

2. Dangerous Flood Watch Issued for Parts of Utah and Arizona over Excessive Rainfall (travelinglifestyle.net) — A new National Weather Service flood watch specifically includes Fountain Hills from late Monday night through Tuesday evening, with storms capable of dropping 1 to 2 inches of rain per hour. Residents are urged to avoid low-water crossings, washes, and burn-scar areas, and to stay alert for potential flash flooding or upgraded warnings as the tropical moisture moves through.
   

3. Shea Boulevard now fully open in Fountain Hills (fhtimes.com) — Eastbound lanes on Shea Boulevard in Fountain Hills are now fully open after months of construction, giving commuters smoother trips through town. Mayor Gerry Friedel, Councilwoman Peggy McMahon, and staff marked the milestone in orange cone costumes, waving to drivers who responded with appreciative honks.
   

4. Meet Arizona's first woman advanced cicerone, a sommelier of beer (phoenixnewtimes.com) — An Arizona beer expert who grew up in Milwaukee and later settled in Fountain Hills has become the state’s first woman advanced cicerone, a top-tier beer certification. She honed her skills at Fountain Hills’ Bone Haus Brewing, where she runs Beer School classes and helps build community around craft beer while mentoring women in the industry.
