• Proposed water project could give Gilbert more flexibility as Colorado River supplies shrink (abc15.com) — Gilbert is leading a key study with Chandler and Mesa on a proposed water connection that could change how local treatment plants handle supplies as Colorado River cuts loom. Officials say the project wouldn't add new water, but could improve flexibility in moving existing Salt, Verde, and CAP water, with potential treatment changes to keep drinking water safe.
