• A real stinker: Wild burro rescued from Arizona septic tank (tucson.com) — A wild burro had to be pulled from an RV park septic tank in Golden Valley, where local residents teamed up with Bureau of Land Management crews for the messy rescue. Working in the Black Mountain Herd Management Area, they pumped out sewage, cut open the tank, and used heavy equipment and straps to lift the exhausted animal, which recovered and returned to the wild.
