• Report: Phillip Steward resigns as Marana football coach (allsportstucson.com) — Marana High School football coach Phillip Steward has resigned after leading the Tigers to a 42–14 record over five seasons and a No. 1 Open Division ranking in 2024. School officials have not yet commented, and AllSportsTucson plans further coverage as the program prepares for its next chapter. 
• Incorporated Areas (pima.gov) — Local flood-control studies affecting the Town of Marana were completed by the Regional Flood Control District, but the town itself is responsible for how those reports are used and any resulting projects. If you have questions about future improvements or regulations in Marana, you’ll need to contact the town directly, while technical questions may be routed through the District.
• Rehoming a Pet (pima.gov) — If you live in Marana and are struggling to keep a pet, Pima County’s Pet Support Center can help with supplies, training, and even medical funding. Marana and Sahuarita residents needing to surrender an animal are directed to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, with rehoming tips offered before turning to a shelter.
