• ADOT sets May 15 hearing on plan funding SR 347 widening (inmaricopa.com) — Maricopa drivers could soon see long-awaited relief on State Route 347, with $86 million for widening the highway included in ADOT’s tentative five-year plan. A May 15 public hearing will let residents comment before the program is finalized, and construction on the 15-mile stretch between I-10 and the Maricopa city limits is expected to begin this summer.
