• Recapping a busy Independence Day Weekend for Page Police, Fire (lakepowellchronicle.com) — Page police and firefighters handled a packed July 4 weekend that included a mobile home fire, an indecent exposure arrest at Safeway, and a double homicide investigation on 9th Avenue. Investigators are still seeking tips on the suspected illegal fireworks fire and the homicide case, and encourage residents to contact Page Police with any information.
   

• Lucy Santana (lakepowellchronicle.com) — Longtime Page resident Lucy C. Santana, who worked at several well-known local businesses after moving here in 1970, has passed away. Family and friends can honor her today, July 15, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Lake Powell Boulevard, with burial to follow at Page Cemetery.
