• Highway constructions begins east of Payson (ktar.com) — Drivers heading east of Payson on SR 260 should prepare for a 2.5‑year construction project starting Monday, June 8, with daytime lane restrictions and possible delays. The Lion Springs improvements will add lanes, wildlife crossings, drainage upgrades, and new turn lanes serving nearby subdivisions while keeping one lane open each way throughout the work.
