• Gila Community College's new program helps inmates find jobs (coppercourier.com) — Gila Community College, which serves students through its Payson and Globe campuses, is piloting an Electrical Fundamentals certification program for inmates to help them reenter the workforce with solid skills and better pay. Taught offsite by veteran electrician-educator Mark Andreason, the 15‑week course gives participants hands-on training, a state-recognized credential, and a realistic path to stable employment instead of returning to crime.
