• Peoria schoolhouse becoming arts, culture hub (peoriatimes.com) — A historic two-room schoolhouse in downtown Peoria is being restored into a new Arts and Culture Center that will host classes, exhibits, and community events by late 2026. Construction runs through October, adding an annex, utilities, and safety upgrades, with some street closures expected.
