Arizona Representative Asks For Arrests At State Of The Union
"Illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported," he said.

PHOENIX, AZ – A Republican member of Arizona's Congressional delegation wants identifications checked at the State of the Union address and "illegal aliens" be arrested and deported. Rep. Paul Gosar, who represents the state's fourth district, says he made the request of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the U.S. Capitol Police.
Gosar's office says that he asked "they consider checking identification of all attending the State of the Union address and arresting any illegal aliens in attendance.
"Additionally, Congressman Gosar asked that they arrest those using fraudulent social security numbers and identification to pass through security."

Several members of Congress have said that they plan to bring DACA recipients as their guests.
"Of all the places where the Rule of Law needs to be enforced, it should be in the hallowed halls of Congress. Any illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported," said Gosar.

His comments were quickly condemned by people on both sides of the aisle.
Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) said: "How many Republican members of the House and Senate will condemn this attempt to punish Dreamers who were brought to this country as kids?"
Meanwhile, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), said on Twitter: "Oh my goodness, RepGosar. Dreamers don’t pose a threat to us. This is so drastic and cruel. Dios mío."
