The LEGO Group is bringing its new LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ Experience to the Phoenix area following its first appearance in Los Angeles, providing kids and families an opportunity to participate in a classic Pokémon Trainer journey inspired by the world of LEGO Pokémon™. Through interactive discovery, LEGO SMART Play’s screenless technology brings nurturing, training and battling with LEGO Pokémon™ creatures to life in a screen-free way, while staying true to classic LEGO building and the LEGO System in Play.
·Participants are first invited to choose a LEGO Pokémon™ partner to take on their journey, selecting from brick-built fan favorites such as Pikachu, Charmander and Squirtle. LEGO SMART Play technology allows their LEGO Pokémon™ partners to play back throughout the experience.
·Aspiring LEGO Pokémon™ Trainers will learn the basics of interacting with their LEGO Pokémon™ creatures via the LEGO SMART Brick and SMART Tags (Tickle them! Feed them a sandwich!), train them up to be stronger, then take them to the gym for an epic hands-on battle with fellow LEGO Pokémon™ creatures! Throughout the experience, attendees will be on the lookout for brick-built Pokémon™ creatures to build up their Trainer knowledge, logging them in their provided free Trainer Guides with stickers to take home.
·In the free-flow LEGO SMART Play Lounge adjacent to the timed experience, fans will also be able to:
- Attend staff-led demonstrations of the entire LEGO Pokémon™ SMART Play assortment, featuring interactive, responsive play powered by the LEGO SMART Brick.
- Engage in interactive photo opportunities including LEGO Eevee and LEGO Pikachu models and a chance to simulate the experience of choosing one of three iconic LEGO Pokémon™ partners.
- Take an up-close look at all LEGO Pokémon™ SMART Play creatures and sets released this year.·
