Given the rise in COVID-19 cases throughout Arizona, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and the City Council issued a declaration that requires people to cover their nose and mouth whenever they are away from their home or residence and unable to physically distance. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors also issued an order for all of Maricopa County that includes persons over the age of two to wear face coverings in public.
