"We're continuing to see technology companies move into the Downtown area," says Christine Mackay, Phoenix Economic Director.

Phoenix continues to present itself as the place all the cool kids are moving. At least all the cool tech companies. The city announced Tuesday that another company - Splash, a deep data, event marketing analytics platform - is opening an outpost in Phoenix.
The city says that Spash brings the number of tech companies located downtown to 274, a giant leap from the 86 that were there just five years ago.
"We’re continuing to see technology companies move into the Downtown area," says Christine Mackay, director, Phoenix Community and Economic Development.

This is Spalsh's first satellite office and they will start with six workers as they look to expand.
"An emerging tech and digital marketing platform enterprise, Splash's entrance into the Greater Phoenix market further emphasizes the draw to the market's availability of talent and livability that is attracting more and more of these companies," said Chris Camacho, president & CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
"The downtown Phoenix location is a great fit and one that will allow Splash to onboard their new team while maintaining their company’s culture."
The company says that where they differ from other consumer event management applications is in the deep data generated for users.

They say that the first hires in Phoenix are going to be dealing with top executives at companies to learn and understand the marketing strategies. The team will be responsible for helping those companies learn and integrate the Splash platform into marketing efforts. At the same time, the core group in Phoenix will be sharing and living the Splash culture.
