Scottsdale Public Library Adjusts Operating Hours: Effective July 20

After working with that reduced schedule for five weeks, Library management has revised the operating hours to balance customer service.

The Scottsdale Public Library initially reopened on June 8, 2020, with restricted hours and services as a result of the economic and public health environment created by the Covid-19 virus outbreak. After working with that reduced schedule for five weeks, Library management has revised the operating hours to balance customer service with the best interest of public health.

Effective July 20, the four Scottsdale Library branches operating hours will be:

Civic Center Library:
Monday & Wednesday: Library Building Open & Curbside available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: Library Building Closed. Curbside available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: Library Building Open & Curbside available 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday: All Library services closed.

Mustang Library:
Monday & Wednesday: Library Building Open & Drive-thru available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: Library Building Closed. Drive-thru available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: Library Building Open & Drive-thru available 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday: All Library services closed

Appaloosa Library and Arabian Library:
Monday - Thursday: Drive-thru available 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: Drive-thru available 1 - 5 p.m.
Sunday: Library Services closed

While the hours of operation and services may be different, patrons can still enjoy the Scottsdale Library anywhere, anytime! Patrons can visit the Library's website to find digital services, such as e-book and audio book lending. While in-person programming is suspended, patrons can use the website to access a variety of interesting and entertaining virtual programming. The Library looks forward to serving you, soon!
