• One Dead After Early Morning House Fire in Pinetop (mountaindailystar.com) — A deadly early-morning house fire in the Pinetop Country Club area left one resident dead and another hospitalized, drawing a major response from Pinetop Fire District and the Pinetop-Lakeside Police Department. Fire officials say electrical issues may have sparked the May 31 blaze, which fully engulfed the home and required mutual aid from Timber Mesa and Navajo County agencies. The cause remains under investigation.
