• Prescott Valley Police Department Mourns Loss of K9 Mac (signalsaz.com) — Prescott Valley residents are mourning the unexpected loss of K9 Mac, a 2½-year-old police dog who served with the Prescott Valley Police Department since 2024 and helped seize large quantities of narcotics and firearms. The department plans a memorial service for Mac, with details to be announced soon, and is extending condolences to his handler, Officer Justin Ellison, and the entire K9 unit.
