Crews have already added nearly a mile of new lanes, extensive sidewalks, and retaining walls, with completion still on track for year’s end, so plan extra travel time along this busy corridor. 
• Man shot, killed outside of family gathering in Prescott Valley, police say (azfamily.com) — Prescott Valley police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a family gathering at the Moose Lodge on 6th Street Saturday night, where a 53-year-old man was killed and a 20-year-old man was detained. Investigators still don’t know what sparked the fight and are asking anyone with information to contact Silent Witness to help piece together what happened.
