Person critically hurt after single-car crash in Old Town Scottsdale (azfamily.com) — A serious single-car crash in Old Town Scottsdale early Sunday left at least one person with life-threatening injuries near Drinkwater Boulevard and Osborne Road. Scottsdale police closed northbound Drinkwater at Civic Center Plaza during the investigation, and officials have not yet confirmed how many people were involved or what caused the wreck.

Canal Convergence to feature interactive artworks inspired by Western landscapes and culture (arizonadigitalfreepress.com) — Scottsdale's Canal Convergence returns Nov. 6–15 to the Scottsdale Waterfront with large-scale interactive light artworks celebrating Western landscapes and culture. Residents can explore illuminated cacti, fire sculptures, sound-and-light installations, and performances that transform the canal area into a walkable nighttime art experience focused on the Sonoran Desert and the American West.
   

3. Ponderosa House serves up a fresh taste of Arizona in Old Town Scottsdale (azbigmedia.com) — A new restaurant, The Ponderosa House, has opened in a restored 102‑year‑old home in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, offering Arizona‑inspired dishes and three distinct dining spaces. Led by longtime Scottsdale restaurateur Jacob Finley, it emphasizes scratch cooking, local flavors, and a welcoming neighborhood feel. Locals can visit on Marshall Way Tuesday through Sunday for lunch, dinner, and cocktails.
   

4. Scottsdale nightclub shooting suspect appears in court (azfamily.com) — A deadly shooting outside Old Town Scottsdale nightclubs left one person dead and another critically injured, and the 22-year-old suspect has now appeared in court with bond set at $1.5 million. Scottsdale police say he was arrested after a chase and Taser deployment, and they're testing a handgun recovered from a nearby hotel pool. Witnesses are urged to share any video or information via the anonymous Scottsdale tip line.
   

5.
