Experience the intense Western Chato’s Land (1972) at Western Spirit Museum as part of the Still in the Saddle exhibit and film series. Starring Charles Bronson and Jack Palance, the film follows a half-Apache man pursued across the frontier after a deadly confrontation sparks a violent manhunt. Known for its gritty storytelling and exploration of justice, prejudice, and survival in the American West, the film became one of the era’s standout revisionist Westerns. Western Spirit Chief Curator and Western cinema expert Dr. Andrew Patrick Nelson will introduce the film and lead a post-screening discussion exploring its themes, cultural impact, and place in Western cinema history. Admission is free for museum members and included with museum admission, or guests may attend the program only for $10. Rated R. Runtime: 1 hour 40 minutes.
