Arizona's Most Ethical Student-Athletes Honored with BBB Champion Scholarships

Know an Arizona student-athlete who leads with integrity? Nominations for the 2026–2027 BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship Program reopen on August 1, 2026, at athlete.bbbcommunity.org. In partnership with the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA), the Better Business Bureau (BBB) recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding honesty, sportsmanship, leadership, and ethical decision-making both on and off the field.

This year's BBB Ethical Champions, Scottsdale's Sophia Philippis of Cicero Prep Academy and Flagstaff's Zilah Wildblood-Crawford of Northland Prep Academy, each received an additional $2,500 scholarship for their exceptional character and commitment to doing the right thing, even when no one was watching. Their inspiring stories are a powerful reminder that integrity is one of the greatest achievements of all.
