The Glass Pumpkin Patch is returning to Carefree!Celebrate fall in the desert Friday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion in the Carefree Desert Gardens.
Stroll through a colorful display of hundreds of one-of-a-kind, hand-blown glass pumpkins created by Gregory Tomb of AZ Glassblowing Studio. With pumpkins in every color, shape and size, it’s the perfect opportunity to find a unique piece of fall décor, snap some festive photos and enjoy a beautiful day in the heart of Carefree.
Even better, a portion of each pumpkin sale benefits the Foothills Food Bank, helping support local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.On Saturday, Oct. 3 from 12 – 3 p.m., enjoy a special Sanderson Lincoln Saturday performance by Ben Bolt while you browse the patch, stroll through the gardens and explore Carefree Town Center.

Several years ago, Master Bespoke Tailor Eric W. Stiles Sr. taught professional online fashion classes through 61 colleges across the United States and 2 colleges in Canada. The college serving your community was one of those institutions, giving local residents the opportunity to study professional sewing, tailoring, garment construction, pattern making, alterations, and other specialized fashion skills.
As the nationwide program continued to grow, Mr. Stiles stepped away from online teaching to redesign the program and make it more affordable and accessible. Those classes are now returning through EWS Fashion Academy, with Online Mini-Courses beginning September 12, 2026. Unlike the previous college-sponsored program, students now register directly through the Academy, and most Mini-Course sessions are just $17.00.
With more than four decades of experience, advanced training with Brioni in Italy, professional work with Brioni, Giorgio Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Tom Ford, and teaching both online and live at 11 Illinois colleges, Mr. Stiles continues to bring professional fashion education to students everywhere.

First course: Harry House Pilsner with Traditional Bruschetta featuring tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic glaze
Second course: Crispy Lager with The Liberty Dog, a smoked sausage served with spicy coleslaw and mustard
Third course: Church Music Hazy IPA with Berto’s BBQ Chicken, BBQ-marinated chicken breast served with scalloped potatoes and green beans
